Privacy Policy

Last updated 24 July 2026

Scroll The Quran is built to work almost entirely on your device, and to collect as little as possible.

What stays on your device

Your saved ayahs, personal notes, reading streak, reading progress, language and display preferences, and reminder settings live only on your device. We do not upload them and we cannot see them.

What is sent when you open a deep study

When you open the AI study for an ayah, the app sends the surah and ayah number, your chosen language, and the text of that ayah to our study service, which uses Anthropic's Claude to generate the study. The request is not tied to your name, email, or an account — the app has no accounts. Generated studies are cached so the same ayah is not produced twice. We keep a short, automatically-expiring technical log (a coarse network identifier) solely to prevent abuse of the service; it is deleted within a day and is never used to identify or profile you.

Subscriptions

Purchases and the free trial are processed entirely by Apple through your App Store account. We never see or store your card, Apple ID password, or payment details — the app only learns whether your subscription is active. We may use a subscription-management service (such as RevenueCat) to verify that status; it receives only an anonymous, app-generated identifier and Apple's subscription receipt, never your identity.

Notifications

Daily reading reminders are scheduled entirely on your device. Their text is generated locally and is never sent to or through any server.

No ads, no tracking, no analytics

We show no advertising and embed no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. We do not sell or share personal data — because we do not collect it.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

Changes

We may update this policy; the date above reflects the latest version.
